The National Organization For Urban Harmony Launches  a competition For  representing   Egypt in the 16th Edition of  Venice Biennial of Architecture which will be held  on 26 May  2018

The National Organization For Urban Harmony, headed by Eng. Mohamed Abu Saada, announced  the preparation process of this  architectural competition to select the best project for  The  16th  Venice International Biennial for Architecture on  

26 May 2018.

Abou saada declared that  the competition is about designing an architectural project to achieve the theme of the free space  ,adding  that the jury committee of the competition included  senior professors of architecture in Egypt

The winner's project team will be awarded by  certificates of appreciation. Plus , The Ministry of Culture will take charge of the   travel costs - maximum of four members including the Commissaire

Venice Biennale is the oldest exhibition on the international level and one of the most important exhibitions representing the contemporary international architecture, with the participation of dozens of countries of the world attended by  More than half a million visitors.

Egypt is one of the first countries to participate in Venice Art Biennale en general and in architecture in particular. Egypt won the Golden Lion reward of  the best pavilion 1995.
