The Ministry of Culture Opens Gamal Abdel Nasser Museum For Free To The Public To Celebrate  July Revolution

- Abdel-Dayem: July Revolution wrote Egypt's modern history and realized many political, social and cultural achievements

 

Dr. Enas Abdel-Dayem ,The Minister of Culture,  gave her directions to open the museum of The late leader Gamal Abdel Nasser free of charge to the public in commemoration of the 23rd July Revolution. The Minister of Culture said that the revolution of July has formed Egypt's modern history and realized many achievements on the political, social and cultural levels.

It is worthy of note that the museum is located in the Manshiyet Al-Bakri Area, east of Cairo, where the leader Gamal Abdel Nasser and his family lived. The museum is located on a total area of ​​13.400 m, consisting of  two-floors on total ​​1,300 m.

Furthermore, the museum consists of two halls.The main is for the president's offices ,the attached salons, the master bedroom, the living room and two salons on the ground floor.

The museum includes many personal documents and personal collectibles of Abdel Nasser, in addition to his personal and family pictures, clothes, cameras, pens, Military Medals, souvenirs. Plus, it also includes the furniture of his home - the living room, the office room and the bedroom.
