As part of the Ministry of Culture’s celebrations of intellectual and cultural figures who have contributed significantly to enriching intellectual and cultural life in Egypt and the Arab world, Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano, Minister of Culture—head of the Supreme Council of Culture—was keen to honor the thinker Dr. Mustafa El-Feki—a member of the Supreme Council of Culture—in appreciation of his intellectual and cultural contributions to Egypt and the Arab world. The celebration, organized by the Supreme Council of Culture and headed by Dr. Osama Talaat, was attended by members of the Supreme Council of Culture and a group of public figures, politicians, thinkers, intellectuals, and artists.
Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano, Minister of Culture, dedicated the shield of the Minister of Culture to Dr. Mostafa El-Feki. During his speech, the minister of culture said that this honor is for a career full of achievements that have influenced our cultural and political life, as El Fikie represents a model to be emulated in public work and in serving Egypt at all levels. He is a veteran diplomat who served Egypt in many international forums, and he always has a wise and influential voice in defending the nation’s issues. He is a brilliant director who managed major cultural institutions, including the Library of Alexandria, as he led this venerable institution towards new horizons of excellence and creativity, spreading culture and knowledge. He is a distinguished academic and political thinker with important and influential visions, which come from a very large knowledge that he acquired from a rich career and professional life on the international scene. With his effort and experience, he managed to become a political and intellectual reference, a unique mark in all fields, and an exemplary model of commitment and dedication to serving the nation.
