The Ministry of Culture celebrates the artist "Shadi Abdel Salam" With various activities on 11 December

 

The Ministry of Culture organized a series of cultural and artistic activities on Wednesday, 11 December, in various Egyptian governorates. These activities are held to celebrate the great artist "Shadi Abdel Salam", under the title "Shadi Day," as part of the Ministry of Culture's plan to celebrate Egyptian intellectual, cultural, and artistic symbols who left an indelible mark.

 

For his part, Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano, Minister of Culture, assured that these activities aim to shed light on one of the most important symbols of Egyptian artists who used their creativity to present Egyptian civilization to the world.

 

"Shadi Day" aims to raise awareness of the value of ancient Egyptian civilization and its role in enriching humanity. The Minister explained that this cultural event is held with the participation of the various sectors of the Ministry of Culture, including: "The Supreme Council of Culture, the Academy of Arts, the Egyptian Opera House, the National Center for Translation, the Theater Sector, the Plastic Arts Sector, the Cultural Development Fund Sector, the General Organization of Culture Palaces, Egypt's Public Libraries, and the National Cinema Center. The events will highlight the works of the artist "Shadi Abdel Salam", in addition to organizing workshops and seminars that discuss his artistic influence and creative vision inspired by ancient Egyptian civilization, a display of the restored version of the movie "The Mummy," and an artistic exhibition of his works.

 

The Minister of Culture indicated that the program includes many axes dealing with the works of the great artist, most notably "Egypt the Homeland in the Eyes of Shadi Abdel Salam", "The Visual and Plastic Vision of Shadi Abdel Salam as an Artistic Director in His Works", "Islamah", "The Prince of Cunning," and "Rabia Al-Adawiya.
