The Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the Society of Authors, Composers, and Publishers, led by Dr. Medhat El Adl, is organizing a major artistic ceremony to honor the late Egyptian artist "Mohamed Rahim" on Wednesday, 18 December 2024, in the Grand Theater of the Egyptian Opera House.
The ceremony will be attended by a group of singing stars from Egypt and the Arab world who have enriched the artistic scene with their works composed by the late Mohamed Rahim. The ceremony will present a group of the most prominent musical works that bear his mark, confirming the continuity of his artistic legacy in the hearts of his fans.
Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano, Minister of Culture, said that the artist Mohamed Rahim was a great artistic value that presented unique works of Arab art that will remain a prominent mark in the field of music and singing, noting that his sudden departure was a great loss to art.
The Minister of Culture went on to say that this event recognizes his status as a son of Egyptian culture and appreciates his contribution to improving the musical scene. He stated that the involvement of singing stars in this event validates Mohammed Rahim's stature in the hearts of both musicians and the general public.
